One of the most perfect-looking couple of Chinese entertainment industry, Alex Fong and Stephy Tang have decided to part ways. The two announced their split after ten years of dating.
The couple released an official letter through their agency, confirming the breakup. The statement read: "Sun Entertainment Culture's contract artists Miss Stephy Tang and Mr. Alex Fong want to announce through the agency that they have decided to end their relationship with each other."
"Stephy and Alex came to the conclusion to split up after giving it a lot of thought. The two are also thankful for each other's support and love in the past 10 years. They will continue to be good friends from now on. They hope the media can respect their decision and won't make any assumption on the matter. At last, the agency wants to thank the media for their cooperation on the matter on behalf of Miss Stephy Tang and Mr, Alex Fong. "
Though the reason for break up is unclear, if rumours are to be believed, the couple decided to split as Tang who wants to settle down, reportedly got very disheartened on the decision made by the 36-year-old actor to not get married. The news of Fong's affair is also making rounds, which he has denied.
Meanwhile, the 32-year-old actress, took to Instagram to dismiss the reports of involvement of any third party in the split. The statement released by Tang, translated by Ahmike read: "Alex is the nicest guy that I have known. I do not have the luck to grow old with him, and I can only blame the arrangement of fate. I do not have the right to regret."
The Anniversary star also gave some insight about how breaking up gives a better chance to find someone more suitable. The Cookies lead singer also apologized to her fans for not being a perfect example of love.
"There is lot of pressure when a real couple becomes onscreen couple Everyone has great expectations of us. Please give us your blessings. I can only say sorry. We let everyone down ! There is no fairytale in my world. There is only love. Our love is real and it was never fake," the actress wrote.
