Avid iOS jailbreakers are in for a big surprise as the prolific iOS hacker iH8sn0w has just released a demo video showcasing a jailbroken iPhone 5 running iOS 10 beta. The iOS jailbreak community can once again hope for the public release of an untethered jailbreak for Apple's latest operating system as iH8sn0w has successfully demonstrated that the jailbroken device can reboot to the Home screen with Cydia icon on top of it.
The hacker has also proved in his video that the jailbroken device is indeed running iOS 10 by deleting the Mail app, and showing off the Maps app, reports iDownloadBlog.
There is no further information available regarding the potential exploits used in the jailbreaking iOS 10 beta untethered. As the jailbreak is confirmed to be running on a 32-bit iPhone 5, it is speculated that the hack is based on the same iBoot exploit which was used by iH8sn0w to jailbreak A5(X) devices a couple of years ago.
If there is any truth to the speculation, it is deemed that a potential iOS 10 jailbreak for newer iPhone 6 devices is almost non-existent. Nevertheless, iH8sn0w's effort at jailbreaking iOS 10 beta could provide the necessary inspiration for veteran jailbreak teams like Pangu and TaiG to come up with a bigger and better jailbreak for iOS 9.3 through iOS 10 in the near future.
If you are still sceptical about the possibilities of seeing an iOS 10 jailbreak soon, you must check out iH8sn0w's untethered jailbreak for iOS 10 beta in action in the demo video (below):
