Nintendo's runaway success 'Pokemon GO' recently received its first major bug-fix update via iTunes App Store as several gamers complained about stability issues and frequent server-disconnections while playing the globally-acclaimed, augmented-reality game. Pokemon fans are in for some great news as the new app update ensures that the game will no longer crash when they try to catch any discovered Pokemon.
Among other noteworthy bug-fixes, full access to Google account has now been revoked for Pokemon GO. So, there will no longer be any privacy and security concerns while installing Nintendo's new gaming app.

How to revoke full Google Account access
After installing the Pokemon GO 1.0.1 update, you can just login to your Google account and revoke full access rights via Google's My Account web app as follows (courtesy iDownloadBlog):
- Login to your Google Account and navigate to the URL: security.google.com/settings/u/0/security/permissions and then click Pokemon GO Release in the list of connected apps and revoke access to the app.
- Open the Pokemon GO app on your iPhone, select Google as your preferred login method and enter the login credentials when prompted. On the permissions screen, just select Allow and you are done.
- That's it. All your game progress will be intact and you no longer have to bother giving full access to your private information on Google Account while playing Pokemon GO.
