YG Entertainment's rookie girl group Black Pink will be wrapping up its outdoor activity schedule to focus on music. The band will reportedly stage its last performance on SBS's Inkigayo on 11 September before they get ready for their comeback in coming months.
On 6 September, an insider from YG entertainment revealed that the girls have already elongated their promotional plans, following which the publicity of their debut single Square One will soon be halted: "BLACKPINK will finish up their debut single activities with their last broadcast on the 11th. We are very thankful for the greater than expected support from fans. Although we extended promotions longer than originally planned, we are so sorry about the reality of it being unreasonably insufficient in satisfying fans' expectations."
The source further added that the band will come up with some good quality music for its fans. The staffer told Soompi : "In return we plan on accelerating work on new songs following the wrap up of activities. We think the best way to repay fans' support is to make a comeback with high quality music. We plan on more varied activities for the next album."
Meanwhile, Black Pink which consists of Jisoo, Jennie, Rose and Lisa, will be unveiling at least two new songs this year, while four other music videos are still in discussion state.
