The prolific Italian hacker, Luca Todesco aka qwertyoruiop, has finally posted a video depicting a jailbroken iPhone 7 running Cydia app on iOS 10.0.1. Recently, the hacker has also posted a screenshot of the Cydia app running on the iPhone 7 via Twitter while there is still no word on an official jailbreak release for iOS 10.
Furthermore, Todesco's teaser video reconfirms the successful jailbreak attempt on iPhone 7 running iOS 10.0.1. If the past is any indication, the hacker is unlikely to release any public version of his functional jailbreaks for iOS 10, especially since he is known to create such hack tools solely for showcasing his skills in the jailbreak community and as a time-pass hobby.
The advent of iOS 10 jailbreak for iPhone 7 paves the way for its imminent public release by Pangu or TaiG team, especially considering the fact that the same hacker had earlier demonstrated a successful jailbreak on 64-bit 9.7in iPad running iOS 10.
As iDownloadBlog reports, Todesco has confirmed that the iPhone 7 uses a whole new level of security check in the form of kernel patch protection wherein the kernel runs a new compression algorithm to prevent writing directly into the Kernel's memory controller where the original data is stored and instead users can write into the Kernel caches.
Todesco's latest innovation with iOS 10 jailbreak enables Cydia to launch normally with full-functionality for Cydia Substrate as well as total-compatibility for multiple Substrate-based extensions in Cydia.
