The most awaited solo debut of former 2NE1 member, Minzy Kong, might get delayed. The 22-year-old singer who was planning for a November release is reportedly not ready with her title track as of now.
In a statement released by the songstress's agency, the officials revealed that they are working with Kong to produce quality song without taking time as a constraint: "We are focusing on producing a first solo album which can portray all of Gong Minzy's talent and potential. We will continue the preparations without being chased by time," the representative added. The Seoul-born singer has been reportedly working on her impending comeback from the time she joined her newest agency in May.
Apparently, the singer has been receiving numerous songs for her debut from varied producers. However, zeroing in on one has been difficult. As per Music Works, the former girl group member has not been able to find the title track which exactly matches her taste and personality.
Furthermore, Kong is also taking part in the agency's mentorship programme in order to train upcoming idol groups. According to Koreaboo, the K-pop singer is mentoring an upcoming rookie group, MYTEEN, which is set to mark its debut next year.
