South Korean singer and actress Kahi has welcomed her first child with entrepreneur husband Yang Joon Moo. The 35-year-old, whose real name is Park Ji Young, shared her baby son's image on her Instagram account.
Kahi shared a photo of her newborn son wrapped up in a white cloth. She captioned the image: "#ThankYou #Ddakji #Noah #Day4 #babyboy #thankyougod #familyfirst #PleaseGrowUpHealthy."
Moo also shared the same image on the photo-sharing website. He wrote: "My wife, whom I love, never once complained during her pregnancy and took care of me. And now this pretty baby boy. You've worked so hard ~"
Kahi and Moo married in March at a small wedding in Hawaii. In May, her agency confirmed that she is three months pregnant. Her agency said at that time: "Kahi wasn't aware that she was pregnant before the wedding. She recently went to the hospital for an exam, and she was surprised to find that she was 3 months pregnant."
Kahi shot to fame as leader of the girl group After School. However, she left the band in 2012 to pursue her solo career.
During an episode of tvN's Taxi which aired in April, Kahi revealed the real reason why she left After School. She said: "After School originally started with five members. However, as the members increased, some of the original members started to get upset."
"Despite the continued conflict, the company did not listen to me. I would always teach the new members when they came in, but they would just go on air and call me scary. I had no one on my side. I, too, am a woman and a part of the company," she added. "That's why I decided to leave."
