The popularity of South Korean band BTS is soaring past all records. The most anticipated boy band is winning many hearts with their second comeback album WINGS released last month. The newest launch is reportedly a huge hit with the title track topping all the major charts of music industry worldwide.
Recently, the seven-member boy group sat for an interview with Xports News to share thoughts on their surging popularity graph. When asked to express their proudest moment, sub-vocalist V said: "It was the first time I saw our songs lining up on the music charts. Also, our last song 'Fire' remained at the top of the charts, which made me realize that our fans really support us."
As the leader of the band, Rap Monster said that he was worried initially. However, his tension released after the album hit the music charts: "I admit that I was worried before our comeback because boy groups struggle to remain on Melon and other main music charts. I always worry about what we can do to make the public listen to our music, and how we can climb up the charts. It's been 3 days since the release of our new song, and it's been in the top 10 which is better results than our last promotion. That means a lot."
Talking about the achievements, the rapper shared that he is overwhelmed to see the album growing as fast as PSY's Gangnam Style: "Our views on YouTube are about to exceed 10 million. I heard the speed of the increase is the fastest after Psy sunbaenim. It makes me happy that we are achieving good results one by one in a fast pace," the 22-year-old relayed.
