Overview
Southampton have not enjoyed a good run in the league this season, especially under their new manager Claude Puel, who replaced Ronald Koeman. The Saints have managed only one win in last five league matches.
Puel will be looking to change the situation and bounce back from their back-to-back defeats against Chelsea and Hull City. Southampton will be wary of Sadio Mane, who left the south coast club and joined the Reds last summer.
Liverpool are enjoying their life under Jurgen Klopp as the Reds sit on top of the league table. The German manager saw his side suffer a 2-0 defeat to Burnely in the second match of the season, which has been their only loss in the league. Klopp will be looking for another win over Southampton when they face them on Saturday.
In the last fixture, the Merseyside club hammered Watford as they registered 6-1 win at Anfield. They are in fine form and the former Borussia Dortmund manager will be looking for a similar display from his men against Southampton on Saturday.
