An eco-friendly fashion show in Colombia has showcased designs made with organic elements such as plants, flowers, recycled and natural materials. The Biofashion Show 2016 was organised in Cali, Colombia, on November 19. Professional Colombian designers including Valentina Hoyos, Stevens Arboleda, Luis Garcia, Daniela Bedoya, Katherine Rodriguez, Tatiana Duque, Katherine Claros, Yohana Martinez and Nayibe Arenas, Sarah Bryon Abadia and Jazmin Restrepo participated in this fashion show.
Authorities said that the bioFashion is a unique environmental initiative to create awareness about the preservation and management of natural resources. Designers develop dresses made with living plants, flowers and organic elements to give a unique look to their creations.
