The 'M' of Skyfall says she had been rejected on auditions for her first movie after she was told she had "every single thing wrong" with her face. Dame Judi Dench made uncomfortable disclosure about her life in a documentary based on her life and experiences.
"I went up about a film once before I'd ever made a film before and there were five big men there. They offered me a seat and no one said anything for a long time and then he took a cigar out of his mouth and he said Ms Dench you have every single thing wrong with your face, I got up and I walked out of the room", the British actress said revealing her past encounters.
The actress made personal revelation about her rejections and struggle while she was filming for the new documentary about her life for BBC. The documentary is reported to be based on her life capturing the significant moments of impact that has turned her to a legendary Hollywood star.
But despite all odds and rejections, Judi with a never say quit spirit went on continuing with a passionate heart for acting career. She went to become a big hit in the theatres and made her professional debut in 1957 with the Old Vic Company.
In the following years she performed in several Shakespeare's plays and from theatre she also made an entry into the Film world and won a BAFTA Award as Most Promising Newcomer. She drew strong critical acclaims and appreciation for her performance in the leading role in the musical 'Cabaret' in 1968.
