Tihmstar's TSSChecker has now been updated to fix issues with saving correct SHSH2 blobs for iOS 10/10.1.1 on iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. Several affected users have been complaining of the incorrect blobs being generated for the aforementioned devices, due to a bug in the older version of TSSChecker.
As Apple is currently signing just iOS 10.2, prospective jailbreakers will be able to generate SHSH2 blobs only for the latest firmware. Furthermore, iOS users who have already saved iOS 10.1.x SHSH2 blobs using the older version of TSSChecker will not be able to downgrade, due to an inherent bug in the previous release of the tool.
Consequently, users of iPhone 7 or any older models are recommended to save the SHSH2 blob for iOS 10.2, before Apple ceases signing the firmware. Although there is no working jailbreak available for iOS 10.2 at the moment, there is every possibility that the final version of Yalu jailbreak could indeed support the latest firmware.
Alternatively, newbies to the jailbreaking scene could try saving the iOS 10.2 blobs directly via TSSSaver website which is practically an easier method.
Meanwhile, the third beta iteration of Yalu jailbreak has been updated to support the TSMC version of iPhone 6s and iPhone SE for jailbreaking iOS 10.1 through iOS 10.1.1. Jailbreakers are advised to exercise caution with the Yalu tool as it's not yet stable and not recommended as a daily driver.
In its current state, the Yalu could be used as an evaluation tool at best, probably for further testing and development of iOS 10.2 jailbreak.
