Popular romantic drama "Descendants of the Sun" last aired in April 2016, but the real-life pot boiler only just began then. The rumours surrounding the romantic relationship of the lead couple, Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo , grew thick and fast and fans continue to believe they are together. Rumours of the Song-Song couple living together and planning to get marreid never died down though reports of their split also emerged in between. To top it off, the latest rumour is that Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo may have already got married in a secret wedding.
Despite all speculations and rumours the so-called couple denied their relationship every time and said they are mere co-stars and friends. But it also remained true that neither had a separate love life -- at least anything that got reported.
Even the couple's appearance together at 2016 KBS Drama Awards Dec 31 triggered the rumours where both of them seemed really close to each other which grabbed the attention of everyone.
Song Joong Ki's agency, Blossom Entertainment busted the reports of their secret marriage when it appeared a few months back. Though the agency only released an official statement stating that the two stars are not married, they did not state anything about their alleged relationship.
During the awards night, the co-stars were seen cozying up with each other. And, Song Hye Kyo was seen comforting the actor who got a little emotional during his friend Park Bo Gum's acceptance speech as he thanked his pal for all his support.
To receive the honorable Daesang Award, the"Descendants of the Sun" lead couple shared the stage on the awards night to which some fans said that it looked like their wedding day as the actress was in a white gown and the actor in a suit.
Also, according to a recent survey conducted by Panel Marketing Interactive, the majority of fans want the Song- Song couple to be a real-life couple. The famous "DOTS" couple got the maximum votes, that is, 16.4% vote from around 2000 voters who are aged 20 years and above. The survey proved that people want the popular and their favourite on-screen couple to date in real life, Yonhap News reported.
