"Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" actor Park Bo Gum won the hearts of his fans with his witty replies in a backstage interview during the 2016 KBS Drama Awards on Dec. 31, 2016. The reports on the revealing back stage interviews also portray how Descendants of the Sun star Song Joong Ki cried on stage and later explained the reasons of his emotional outburst.
The KBS2 television show "Entertainment Weekly" on Jan. 7, Saturday, featured the backstage interviews, Yibada reported.
During the interview, the multi-awarded Korean drama, "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" starrer Park Bo Gum was asked about his KBS loyalties as he has been into many hosting duties for the network. Park Bo Gum, along with Seolhyun of AOA, hosted the 2016 KBS Song Festival and the 2016 KBS Drama Awards.
The 23-year-old talented actor replied: "I'm waiting for my employee ID card, "when he was asked if he is a KBS employee considering his number of gigs in the channel. The actor received Male Top Excellence Award for his acting in "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds," Netizen Award and also won the Best Couple Award with Kim Yoo Jung.
The hit drama "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds," was a big winner in the 2016 KBS Drama and also the hit K-drama "Descendants of the Sun".
Apart from the awards Park Bo Gum won, "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" also received Female Excellence Award for Mid-length Drama for Kim Yoo Jung, Best Supporting Actor Award for Lee Joon Hyuk, Best New Actor Award for Jinyoung, and Best Young Actor Award for child actors Heo Jung Eun and Jung Yoon Suk.
The "Descendants of the Sun" male lead Song Joong Ki, who has been in news since the 2016 KBS Drama Awards for getting emotional during the 2016 KBS Drama Awards, explained the reasons behind his tears. While receiving the Grand Award for his acting, "Descendants of the Sun" actor could not hold back his tears.
During the backstage interview, he explained that he could hold back his as he recalled the filming of the hit drama. Song Joong Ki was also seen crying during Park Bo Gum acceptance speech where he mentioned Song Joong Ki in his acceptance speech for all the support he gave to him.
