Fans of Song Hye Kyo are worried for the actress after she posted a black-and-white photo of herself on Instagram. Many are speculating that she is missing her rumoured love, Song Joong Ki.
This comes after the Descendants of the Sun co-stars won the Grand Prize and the Best Couple Award at the KBS Drama Awards 2016 held on 31 December 2016 in Seoul. In the hit drama, Joong Ki played the lead role as Captain Yoo Shi Jin, and Hye Kyo reprised the role of a doctor named Kang Mo-Yeon.
In her acceptance speech, she thanked the Alpha team, Jin Goo, her mother, her fans and Joong Ki. She said: "But, the only reason why I am able to get this award is because of Song Joong Ki. I wouldn't be here without him."
Rumours that they are dating started in March 2016 after the two were reportedly seen together in New York. However, Joong-ki's agency confirmed that the couple are not an item in real life.
The statement from UAA Korea read: "Song Joong-ki is her good colleague with whom she's done a TV series together."
"She was on vacation in New York and Song Joong Ki happened to be there. They had a meal with other friends, and we cannot believe it has turned into a scandal. There is no need for us to consider it seriously. We will take it as a sign of fans' interests. That story has been going around for a long time now. Media outlets have asked us about it and we have told them many times that it is not true," the letter read.
