The popular detective series Sherlock came to end with Season 4. However, season 5 doesn't seem quite possible with what the recent reports say.
The lead actors of the popular series Benedict Cumberbatch, who plays the role of Sherlock and Martin Freeman, who reprises the role of Dr. Watson, allegedly do not get along well.
According to The Sun, the two actors aren't close to each other, despite working for six years together. The source also mentioned that two actors are not willing to work with each other.
However, Cumberbatch rubbished the reports and revealed to the AP that he and Martin are very busy with their respective schedules. He added: "We'll see, we'll never say never and when it's right, and if it's right, we'll do more."
According to The Independent as cited by Yibada, "one of the show's creators, Steven Moffat, at a recent screening said that even though they are not planning to end the show, it is possible that there might not be a Season 5."
Previously, in July, Moffat hinted that Sherlock season 4 would be the last one of the series. Reportedly, for the first time ever, the said finale season of Sherlock drew the minimum number of audience on Sunday night.
According to reports, only 5.9 million people tuned in to watch the finale episode of the series. While the first episode of season had 8.1 million people watching - that was a sharp decline in the viewership.
