LG G5 users in Philippines are in for some great news as the long-awaited Android 7.0 Nougat over-the-air (OTA) update is now rolling out on their handsets. G5 users in South Korea received the update first in November, followed by the US, Hong Kong and then the KDZ release for Verizon and the entire Europe in December.
LG Philippines has recently confirmed via its official Twitter handle that the new Android 7.0 update is now available for its G5 across the country with a bunch of new features and enhancements.
LG has been the first OEM handset maker to release the official Nougat OTA to its customers, wherein its flagship phone V20 was the first Android smartphone to ship Nougat out-of-the-box.
The G5 users in Philippines, who missed the OTA update notification, may go ahead and check for the Android 7.0 update manually from Settings > About Device > System update.
