The relationship of Miley Cyrus and her fiancé, Liam Hemsworth is going strong but the singer doesn't want to marry him. The the reason is the newly installed President of America, Donald Trump. Miley Cyrus says she wouldn't tie the knot with Hemsworth until Trump is out of office.
According to Hollywood Life, Cyrus is worried as now Trump has the authority to make some of the biggest changes in the country. The 24-year-old singer is determined about the decision she has taken. A source told Hollywood Life, "So many of Miley's beliefs are being threatened right now."
The source further added: "She wants to take a stand and not get married if others are going to be in so much pain in Trump's America. Miley wants to focus her time on important social issues and not a wedding."
Miley's decision not to mary Liam Hemsworth is a way of her taking a stand on the new president and his impact on America. "She will not walk down the aisle knowing that a man she has no respect for could potentially make the worst decisions on its citizens' behalf and evidently ruin the country for next four years," reported inquisitor.
The couple initially planned to marry this year but Cyrus did not expect that Donald Trump would make a surprise win at the election. In fact, she said she would leave the US if Trump won, but she withdrew that decision and chose to stay back and fight the system.
Reports of Miley Cyrus ditching her plans to marry Hemsworth came soon after Donald Trump's inauguration. So, at the least, the wedding is not happening for another four years.
Miley will most probably be keeping herself busy with her upcoming recording and her other duties as a judge on The Voice, as she reportedly signed on to take part for one more series.
