South Korean actress and model Kim Yoo Jung has spoken out for the first time since being discharged from the hospital.
The Moonlight Drawn By Clouds star was hospitalized for stress-induced shock. Jung was anxious due to the controversy surrounding her behaviour on stage during an event of movie promotion.
Jung took to her Instagram account and posted a picture of a sun rising at dusk. She wrote: "I hope many people get more warm blessings this new year. I'll try my best to be someone who gives people joy. Please spend a Happy Lunar New Year with your family, and hope you get a lot of blessings this year."
In Decemer 2016, Yoo Jung's agency revealed the actress is undergoing treatment. SidusHQ stated: "Kim Yoo Jung showed signs of stress-induced shock in the evening of December 26, and was immediately rushed to the hospital. She is currently receiving treatment at the hospital, and we will need to make changes to her current schedule of movie promotions and end-of-the-year awards ceremonies."
Meanwhile, Cha Tae Hyun had opened up about working with Yoo Jung. The two who have a 23-year age-gap, willl be seen together in the upcoming romantic-comedy film, Because I Love You.
During a session of Kim Shin Young's Hope Song at Noon, the 40-year-old actor was asked about acting opposite the 17-year-old actor. He said: "It wasn't overwhelming because her role wasn't one requiring love with me. Kim Yoo Jung plays a high schooler, and it was really good to have an actual high schooler play a high schooler. In the past, high schoolers were played by youthful actors. It also applies to me, but you can't forcefully play it."
