Oscar winner George Clooney and wife Amal Clooney are in double joy - the star couple are expecting a boy and a girl as twins. The news was revealed on a US talk show, and going by reports Amal is due in June.
The 39-year-old British-Lebanese human rights lawyer married the 55-year-old actor at a lavish Italian wedding in 2014.
According to a report in The Sun, the couple is renovating their luxurious bungalow to build a baby-proof mansion. The report stated that George and Amal have already prepared what will now become the center of their universe — a child-proofed mansion on a four-acre island in the Thames. They bought nine-bedroom, eight-bathroom, Aberlash House, in Sonning, Berks, for £7.5 million in 2014 and have spent £12.5 million on renovation. Reportedly, the couple is fencing the Manson to prevail the kids from entering the pool area.
The 17th-century four-acre building is located in the Thames and has a tennis court, boat house,18 CCTV cameras with a 12-seater cinema hall, editing suite, indoor and outdoor pools, hot tubs and other first class facilities. The report further added that George fell in love with the village while shooting for The Monuments Men in 2014.
Meanwhile, the actor's mother Nina and best friend Matt Damon also shared their happiness on the good news. Nina revealed that George and Amal would make great parents and the same was reflected in Matt's words too.
The same report added that both George and Amal are making efforts to develop a good relationship with the local community.
"George and Amal have been spotted at The Mill theater taking in a show, and George loves a drink at The Bull where he just mixes and mingles with the locals," The Sun quoted a community member.
