Bayern Munich have not enjoyed a great start to their Champions League campaign as they have managed only four wins in the group stages. In this process, they suffered two defeats, against Atletico Madrid and Rostov.
Carlo Ancelotti saw his side finished second in the table behind the Spanish capital club as their two defeats came in the away fixture. However, the Bundesliga outfit have managed a home defeat in the European competition since their 4-0 defeat to Real Madrid in 2014.
Arsenal qualified for the knockout stages after they finished on top of Group A, ahead of Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain. They have struggled in the Premier League in recent times, suffering defeats at the hands of Watford and Chelsea prior to their 2-0 victory over Hull City.
Arsene Wenger's side have faced the German outfit on several occasions in the past few years and the Gunners are yet to beat Bayern in the knockout stages of the Champions League. They will be hoping to achieve that feat this season.
