And it's official, actor Joo Jin Mo is in a relationship with Chinese actress Zhang Li. Joo's management agency has officially clarified the news to a television channel.
"It is true that [Joo Jin Mo] is in a relationship with Zhang Li. Joo Jin Mo helped Zhang Li when she came to Korea, which is how they became close," the agency was quoted by Soompi.
In 2016, both Joo and Zhang were caught together by Chinese media outlets. Though rumors of their romance were doing the rounds, Joo immediately thrashed the reports and confirmed that they are just friends. The couple reportedly went on a vacation together in Japan, which again led to rumors and speculations. Zhang also posted a picture of herself with Joo, that confirmed the rumors. Along with the picture, she wrote: "This time is very good for a kid who doesn't have much chance to see snow."
Joo, 42, and Zhang, 32 first met on the set of Chinese drama I'm Sorry, My Love, and subsequently fell in love. Joo made his big screen debut in 1999 with Dance Dance, and some of his well-known works include Friend: The Great Legacy, Gabi, A Frozen Flower and Wanee & Junah. He has also appeared in a handful of television shows that comprises of Beloved Eun-dong, Empress Ki, Bichunmoo and Fashion 70's.
Zhang Li is a rising star in China with films like Breakup Buddies, Fall in Love, Future X-Cops, and Just Another Pandora's Box under her kitty. Her television dramas include Yi Shi Qing Chang, Love's Relativity, Xin Shen Tan Lian Meng, Hai Dao Jiu Hu Dui, Qian Duo Duo Jia Ren Ji, and Nan Ren Bang.
