Numerous flagship smartphones took the centre-stage of all announcements made on day 1 of Mobile World Congress (MWC 2017) in Barcelona. LG, Lenovo/Motorola and Nokia among others displayed their forthcoming flagship smartphones including LG G6, Moto G5/G5 Plus and Nokia 6.
LG G6
LG G6 is one of the top-rated smartphones that were unveiled on the first day at the Mobile World Congress. Among several power-packed features, its bezel-less 5.7in QHD IPS Full Vision display stands out as it offers a screen to body ratio at 80% as opposed to 70% from its competition in the market.
Check out the other officially confirmed features, which are in line with the rumours leading up to the G6's announcement:

There is still no word on the official pricing and availability details of G6. Nevertheless, the flagship phone will come in Ice Platinum, Mystic White and Astro Black launch colours.
Moto G5 and G5 Plus
Moto G5 and G5 Plus have been officially unveiled at the official Lenovo event yesterday. Like the G6, the Moto G5 and G5 Plus come with power-packed hardware features.
The G5 comes with the smaller 5in 1080p full HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It will be powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core Snapdragon 430 CPU and paired with 2GB of RAM.
The G5 will be available in two storage variants: 16GB and 32GB wherein both the models support memory expansion via microSD slot. The handset draws its power through a 2800mAh removable battery and runs Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. On the camera front, it comes with a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera for taking selfies.
In contrast, the G5 Plus features 5.2in full HD display, 2.0GHz Snapdragon 625 processor, 2 to 4GB of RAM (region-based), 32 and 64GB storage variants expandable via microSD, 12MP rear camera, 5MP front-facing camera, 3,000 mAh battery and NFC support. The handset runs latest Nougat update out of the box.
As far as the pricing is concerned, the regular G5 costs €199 and G5 Plus with 32GB/2GB RAM model sets you back by €279 in Europe as well as globally. On the other hand, the G5 Plus costs $229 for the 32GB/2GB RAM model across the world.
Nokia 3, 5 and 6
Nokia 6
Nokia has unleashed three new Android smartphones – Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 – at the ongoing event of Mobile World Congress, wherein the Nokia 6 is the only flagship handset powered by the Snapdragon 430 processor and it features 5.5in full HD display, 3GB of RAM, 32GB microSD memory expansion slot and 16MP rear camera.
The Nokia 6 sports an aluminium unibody design and runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box. The handset has an estimated launch price of $240 with its rollout expected in Q2 this year.
Nokia 5
Nokia 5 is expected to bring the following features for $199 in Q2, in four different colours:
- 5.2in 720p display
- Snapdragon 430 processor
- 2GB RAM
- 16GB storage with microSD slot
- 13MP rear camera
- Android 7.1.1 Nougat stock firmware
- Aluminium unibody design
Nokia 3
Nokia 3 will be aimed at the budget consumer with its $139 price tag. As far as specifications are concerned, it features 5-inch 720p display, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage with microSD expansion, quad-core processor, 8MP front and rear cameras and runs pure Android 7.0 stock firmware out of the box.
