Android beta testers are in for some great news as a bunch of Pixel and Nexus devices including the Google Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel C, Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P are now being updated to Android 7.1.2 beta 2 via build NPG47I. The Nexus Community Manager at Google Orrin Hancock has just announced the arrival of new Nougat beta update via Google+, while there is still no sign of the full factory images for the new update.
There is no official word on the feature changes or tweaks included in this update. However, one Android user named 'Mike' has tipped off Android Police that the latest Android 7.1.2 beta 2 update finally brings the long-awaited fingerprint swipe gesture for the Nexus 6P for accessing the notification tray.
There is a new toggle in the Moves section in the settings app to enable/disable fingerprint gestures on the Nexus 6P. The feature was initially rolled out to Nexus 5X as part of the first beta for Android 7.1.2 sometime last month and now the Nexus 6P joins the party.
