Han Solo isn't flying in the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon with Chewbacca at least until May 2018, but Solo's mentor already thinks it is going to be the best 'Star Wars' movie yet.

Actor Woody Harrelson, best known for his signature quirky performances, is playing Han Solo's mentor Garris Shrike. Well, now we certainly know where Han gets his craziness from. Harrelson recently sat down with Collider to talk about his most recent films, including War for the Planet of th Apes, Wilson and of course the untitled Han Solo spin-off.

Harrelson was asked about his experience working with Phil Lord and Christopher Miller on the sets of the Han Solo movie and he was quite ecstatic is his reply, even going so far as to suggest this might be the best 'Star Wars' movie of them all.

"They're [Lord and Miller] great. You know, any movie's only as good as the director or in this case directors, and so I have a suspicion, because if you look at the whole, all the movies, the backlog of every one of these movies, there's a lot of great stuff, but one might not be not as good with the writing in this or the acting in that or the directing in that, this has great actors, great directors, great script, and I really feel like we're gonna make the best one," Harrelson was quoted as saying.

Of course Harrelson is part of the cast and he might be a bit biased because it is his own project and a Star Wars project at that. However, there's no question that an experienced actor like Harrelson, who has been in the showbiz industry for almost four decades now, can be trusted by his words. 'Rogue one' helmer Gareth Edwards also said he was impressed by the direction for the Han Solo spin-off.

Speaking at the Empire Film Awards, Edwards said, as quoted by Slashfilm, "They're [Lord and Miller] amazing filmmakers. I'm very excited about what they do. It'll be a completely different film to what we did. I think they've got the hardest task, I think, out of all the films that I heard about that one is probably the greatest challenge and they're gonna knock it out of the park, but I wouldn't have had the balls to do that."

So, both Harrelson and Edwards' stamp of approval means as fans, we can be assured that the Han Solo spin-off is in safe hands. The movie storms into theatres on May 25, 2018.
