JTBC's 'Strong Woman Do Bong Soon' has been doing really well. The success of the drama has a lot to do with its charming lead Park Bo-young who plays a woman with super-human strength. She steals any scene she is in and now she has revealed the secret behind her solid dialogue delivery.
Speaking directly with her fans via V-app Soompi notes, Park Bo-young talked with them during a break from filming an episode of 'Strong Woman Do Bong Soon.' When she was asked how she memorizes her lines from the script, Bo-young revealed that she keeps talking to herself. "I keep mumbling the lines to myself. I talk to myself a lot. When I'm getting my makeup done, when I'm in the car, I keep mumbling and memorizing," Bo-young told her fans. She added, "Sometimes, my manager is caught off guard by me talking to myself so he'll start talking back to me."
Her manager might suspect that she is losing her mind but the scientific community is of the opinion that creative people often talk to themselves. Talking to oneself may help to keep our memories alive; aiding our minds in certain ways.
Park Bo-young also talked of how the drama is inspiring and exciting her as a person. "I'm actually getting stronger filming this drama. I keep thinking I'm as strong as my character so I try to lift heavy objects, and I actually succeed," she said.
Eventually, fans began asking Park Bo-young to take a photo with her handsome co-star and 'Hwarang' actor Park Hyung-sik. To this, the actress teased fans by replying in-character as Do Bong-soon. "CEO Ahn Min Hyuk (Park Hyung Sik's character) is very busy right now. But because you all want it, I'll send him a business proposal. Only when that passes will I be able to stand in front of a camera with him [for a photo]." This left shippers disappointed for sure.
There has been a love triangle brewing between Do Bong-soon, Ji Soo's character Guk-doo and AhnMin-hyuk. It'll be interesting to see who she ends up choosing, if at all.
Park Bo-young expressed her gratefulness towards the fans for supporting the drama. She said, "I'm having so much fun and am really happy these days. Because of you guys, the atmosphere on set is so wonderful. On behalf of the team, I want to say thank you to you all." She also informed her fans that following the end of the V-app chat she would go off to sleep as they were done with shooting for the day.
