The massive leak of private pictures continues to haunt the celebrities, and the celebrity victims won't forget the humiliation and damage it caused. Last week, WWE star Paige's private explicit photos were leaked last week and finally spoke up what she is going through after the hacking.
On Tuesday, she took to Twitter and shared an emotional statement saying she made "a big mistake". Paige also added that she would "always take responsibility" for the photos, but she was worried as to how her family would react.
"The one thing that was the hardest was thinking 'my husband is gonna leave me' [or] 'my family will disown me' but I'm blessed beyond words to have a family and a husband that stuck by me because they know who I am," she explained.
She also added, "They know I'm not a bad person and they held my hands through hell."
Last week, the 24-year-old WWE star confirmed on Twitter that without her consent her "personal and private photos" were shared publicly online.
Just a day before, actress Scarlett Johansson too spoke about the incident as she herself became the victim during a similar incident in 2011.
On Monday, while speaking to Howard Stern, she said the leak of the private pictures six years ago "was absolutely shocking and devastating at the time."
The Avengers actress said, "It was such an invasion. I just felt like as a woman, I felt like it's such a degrading and awful thing to have to go through that."
"The person who hacked into my email account was also impersonating me and trying to get pictures of other people through it."
She said, adding, "It feels particularly invasive when you are in the public eye and you're like, 'What else can I give you?'"
