Kate Middleton attended Pippa's Middleton's bachelorette in Meribel, France while Prince William was caught having a fun night out with friends at a club in Switzerland. The 34-year-old royal had skipped the Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey, and went for ski trip in the Swiss Alps with his male friends.
The two groups had reportedly taken the same private jet to travel to their ski weekends. A source told The Sun: "Pippa loves skiing so it was her first choice for a hen weekend."
"They stayed in a really exclusive catered chalet with maids and chef, who ensured that they were totally spoilt. The owners also wanted to impress their royal guests so the girls were showered with gifts."
"They were given Swatch watches, Ugg slippers, leather-bound notebooks and bespoke fragrances. It was a very small, private party and they had an amazing time," the insider said.
Meanwhile, the Duchess of Cambridge's younger sister and James Matthews who got engaged on 17 July, will tie the knot on 20 May 2017.
Pippa and Matthews had first dated in 2012 but split the same year. In August 2015, the duo sparked rumours that they are dating again after he was spotted at Pippa's side during a Middleton family vacation at his parents' hotel. They have been together this time for less than a year.
