The SBS legal rom-com Suspicious Partner stars, Ji Chang-wook (The K2) and Nam Ji-hyun have been reportedly busy filming and campaigning for the show, but recently they took to the streets to promote for the drama themselves. The drama will be airing soon in May and will take over the Wednesday-Thursday slot.
Soompi reported that the actors of the drama appeared in the middle of Seoul and were seen wearing pink, black, and blue outfits. The lead actor of the drama Ji Chang Wook promoted his new drama, saying, "Your views will change the drama. This romantic comedy, airing on May 10, will make thousands of hearts flutter. The history of Korea will change soon and the new drama 'Suspicious Partner' will also begin." He said it in the form of a speech parodying the upcoming Presidential election in Korea.
The staff of the drama stated, "We practiced for hours to film the speech and dance, and it gave us more energy when the people started enjoying it, too. Please stay tuned for a surprising video of this dance performance, which will be released soon."
In the drama, Ji Chang-wook will play the role of a prosecutor Noh Ji-wook. According to dramabeans, the actor described his character as "hard-headed when it comes to his job and his principles, but that's a part of his charm." The actor also revealed about Nam Ji-hyun's role in the drama Eun Bong-hee and said that the chemistry between them has already been loved and praised by the rest of the cast and crew and is expecting the same from the viewers.
Other cast members include Choi Tae-joon (Missing 9) and Hello Venus idol Nara and the former will be playing Ji Chang-wook's bestie in the show which is great as they are off-screen good buddies as well. So, chances are that their real-life rapport will be visible on-screen when the drama airs. And, Nara will be making her acting debut in this show.
Suspicious Partner is scheduled to air its first episode on May 10, following the currently airing drama Saimdang, Light's Diary.
