Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner recently filed for divorce this week citing "irreconcilable difference" as the reason for their separation. New reports reveal some of the secrets of the former couple.
The divorce papers have been filed without lawyers and no indication on the date of separation. The requested for a joint custody of their three kids – Violet, 11, Seraphina, 8, and Samuel, 5. They did not reveal the details of support payments, but did a few of their marital assets were listed, Radar Online reported.
According to the court documents as cited by inquisitr, "Miscellaneous jewellery and other personal effects," which includes, "Earnings and accumulations... from and after the date of separation... separate property assets and obligations of the parties, the exact nature and extent of which are not presently known."
Though the couple separated two years back, they filed a divorce recently which came just after Affleck finished a stint in rehab for his alcohol addiction.
According to Gossip Cop, the duo took time to file for divorce because they wanted to sort out things before moving to the courtroom. This is one of the reasons why Affleck and Garner have been spotted together on numerous occasions even after officially announcing their split.
This led to several rumours of their reconciliation. According to inquisitr, an insider previously mentioned, "Her friends have been whispering about it for weeks. No doubt it was a shock to hear a doctor say not only that she's pregnant, but that there were two heartbeats!" And, further added, "Having twins can finally seal the deal on Ben and Jen's reconciliation."
According to the reports, Affleck and Garner want the divorce to settle down by this year. The only issue is the financial side of the split.
However, the two have not even released the official statement regarding their divorce filing but it seems that nothing can fix their marriage. Only good thing for the fans can be that they remain on amicable terms.
