The new JTBC drama, "Man to Man" will possibly be another hit after "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon". The new drama is reportedly surpassing the viewership ratings of "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" during its premiere.
The Park Hae Jin starrer drama made an impressive debut with high viewership ratings. The drama released on April 21, Friday and the very first episode received nationwide viewership shares of 4.055 percent, according to Nielsen Korea, as cited by Korean news outlet Donga.
The premiere episode of the drama received higher ratings than the recently ended hit drama, "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" that recorded 3.829 percent viewership ratings across the South Korean nation.
In the Seoul Metropolitan area, the drama starring Park Hae Jin received TV ratings of 4.808 percent and the Bo Young starrer drama got the ratings of 4.044 percent.
Well, it is too early to say whether it will be able to maintain the strong viewership ratings and beat the success rate of "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" or not. The recently concluded drama wrapped up with viewership shares of 8.957 percent across the nation and 9.625 percent, in Seoul.
Park Hae Jin also unveiled what he plans to do if his new drama records strong ratings. Hae Jin promised to donate 10,000 trees to South Korea if TV ratings for "Man to Man" crosses the 10 percent mark, Soompi reported.
The actor believes that with this South Korea's air quality will improve. Apart from him, "Man to Man" cast member Park Sung Woon will also be reportedly joining it as mentioned by Hae Jin.
