Selena Gomez could not hide her emotions while attending her former Wizards of Waverly Place co-star David Henrie's wedding. The 27-year-old actor and Maria Cahill tied the knot in Old Hollywood-inspired ceremony on April 21 in Los Angeles.
Gomez realized her emotions are strong for The Weeknd during the wedding ceremony. A source told Hollywood Life: "Selena got very emotional at David's wedding and was so happy for him. It was a completely magical moment for her because she saw what true love was all about and realized that is what she has with The Weeknd."
"Seeing David so happy made her think of what she has with Abel and how happy she is and is fully devoted to everything he has brought to her life. It just proved that The Weeknd is her dream man," the insider added.
Gomez took to her Instagram account to share her happiness. She wrote: "Very much in my feelings about my big brother getting married. Even though we for sure knew it would be him first. May God bless you and your beautiful wife Henrie!"
Previously, during an interview with People, Henrie revealed Gomez was oneof the first person to know about his wedding plans. He said: "[She was] one of the first people I told I was getting married. She was like, 'I'm in. Whenever it is, I'll be there,'" he said. "As it got closer, I was like 'No, just relax and enjoy the evening.' But it very well might [happen spontaneously]."
