Avid Kodi fans are in for some good news as the latest version of Kodi 18 supports Google voice search and Leanback suggestions on Android TV.
The Kodi app which was formerly known as 'XBMC', now offers user-based content suggestions from library through the home screen of Android TV, besides allowing users to play any of their favourite content directly from the Kodi library, using the voice search feature.

Meanwhile, those who cannot wait for the official release of Kodi 18 may go ahead and install the nightly build for Android TV via Kodi's website. Once you have installed Kodi, just head over to the app's Settings > Services > Control and enable 'Allow remote control via HTTP' to get the voice search and Leanback features to work.
Users who are experiencing issues are advised to submit bug reports at the official support forum.
