At the recent fan-meet in HongKong on May 6, Goblin actor, Gong Yoo, was asked about his upcoming project and he shared a bit about it. According to Soompi, the Train to Busan actor responded saying, "I do not plan on taking a long break. Filming a drama, though, was very tiring. After working on a drama, I start to long for a movie set."
The actor further went on to say, "I have not decided anything yet, but I think it's likely my next work might be a movie. I won't take too long and will choose a good project quickly."
During the same event, Gong Yoo's agency colleague and good friend, Gong Hyo Jin, made a surprise appearance that delighting all the fans present.
The actor who recently won the best actor award for Goblin at Baeksang Art Awards, 2017 also revealed that he is comfortable to do nude scenes if the script asks for it and if the content is good.
He talked about his future plans at the press conference, which was held before the event where he also praised Tony Leung Chiu-wai saying, "I like Tony Leung Chiu-wai, so I think I'd also like to try out roles he's done. I have respect for Tony Leung Chiu Wai's acting."
Gong Yoo went on to say, "I've received this same question in Korea before, where they asked me if I wanted to try a film like 'Lust, Caution'. I think that if a production's overall message or mood is good, something like revealing scenes will not hinder it," allkpop mentioned.
In other news, actress Song Hye Kyo recently expressed her wish to work with the Goblin actor, Gong Yoo. The actress said, "We've never done a production together before and I haven't met him yet, so I don't know him personally."
Since nothing has been officially announced about Gong Yoo's upcoming project it is hard to say what he is up to but certainly, Hye Kyo and Gong Yoo couple will be worth watch if something takes place eventually.
