The MBC variety show, "We Got Married" wrapped up its season with a special episode featuring Jang Do Yeon-Choi Min Young couple.
On May 13, the show ended up with the said couple, who spent the shortest time in the show. The showrunners are very sorry about the fact that the couple couldn't enjoy for a longer period of time and to make up for it the showrunners have decided to air the special episode for them.
Previously, Soompi reported that in a recent interview, the producer said, "I feel very sorry to end the show without showing much of Choi Min Yong and Jang Do Yeon's couple life. Many people think that they were casted in a hurry knowing that the show was going to come to an end. However, this is not true."
The special episode revealed some unseen footage of the couple's life on Jeju Island as well as their final moments together.
Choi Min Yong said, "There's probably a lot more charms we haven't experienced in one another."
On the other hand, Jang Do Yeon had a handwritten letter for her onscreen husband in which she wrote, "It's hard to believe and hard to accept, but I was your wife. Our short marriage was like a dream I didn't want to wake up from. I wanted to slowly repay you with my thankful heart, but our separation is here earlier than we expected," Soompi noted.
The couple was interesting in its own unique way and their personalities seem to be a perfect match despite the fact that they are eight years apart.
