It has been more than a year that the popular military drama "Descendants of the Sun" wrapped up but Song Joong Ki still makes sure that he is there for the staff.
According to Soompi, the actor attended the wedding of a makeup artist on May 20. Joong Ki got to know the artist while working on the drama and even now they are in contact as they became very good friends.
The actor went to the wedding wearing a blue striped shirt and black pants and cheered the new bride. The report added that the actor watched the entire ceremony and had a smile on his face throughout.
The actor's presence in the ceremony is noteworthy, given how busy life he leads as he is one of the most popular actors both in and outside Korea. Taking time out of his packed schedule is a big deal as it would not have been easy for him to take even a day off.
In other news, Song Joong-ki has recently purchased a house in the area of Itaewon in Yongsan, Seoul worth 10 billion won or US$8.9 million.
The 31-year-old actor bought a two-story house with a floor area of 371.7 sq. m. and a land area of 602 sq. m., according to Korea Herald. The actors' agency, Blossom Entertainment, however, declined to confirm the report stating, "We have not heard about it from him. Since it's the actor's personal matter, we cannot verify it."
This year Jong Ki's upcoming film "Battleship Island" is scheduled to release in Korea.
