There was a buzz in social media that Korea's most beloved couple Lee Min Ho and Suzy Bae will tie the knot after the former's military enlistment in 2019. Following this, Lee's agency MYM Entertainment came out and denied the marriage rumours. They also clarified they Lee would be getting straight to work after the completion of his military service.
A source from the agency told KPop Herald, "That's impossible. (Lee) is to follow the instructions of an official from the Military Manpower Administration and be informed of his work site. It's impossible that he can get away early on the first day."
Lee Min Ho broke the hearts of millions of fans when he announced his military enlistment plans. The actor began his mandatory military service on May 12 as a public service worker at the Gangnam District Office in Seoul.
Meanwhile, in the May issue of @star1 magazine, Lee shared his thoughts on the military enlistment and more.
"I thought I would be totally cool with it and I thought it would be nothing. But I do feel a bit sad, too. It's not about the fact that I have to enlist that makes me sad, but the fact that I'm at the end of my 20s," he was quoted by the magazine.
The 29-year old actor is, in fact, taking up the enlistment late, but he agreed that delaying the service has brought him fame. He concluded: "If I'd gone early, I wouldn't have been cast in 'Boys Over Flowers' and my 20s probably wouldn't have been as happy. I personally think that going later was a good choice for me." "I've received all the expressions of regret and support from the fans. I hope I can give you 'healing' after I come back fit and healthy."
Lee also completed 10 years in the industry recently. Well, his popularity needs no introduction as he is rightly called as "the Ryan Gosling of Korea." He has a great fan following in China, Japan, US, and many other countries. Apart from that, he has also represented a number of big brands like Korean Air, Ferrero Rocher chocolates, Dunkin' Donuts, Romanson watches and Etude House.
