Korean girl group SISTAR achieved an "all-kill" status by topping all music charts in South Korea with their last and farewell song "Lonely."

"Lonely" was released on May 31 as the group's last single together before they disband. On June 1, the song topped all music charts edging out artists like TWICE and Psy.

Starship Entertainment, the girls agency, announced last May 23 that the group would disband after seven years in the business. SISTAR released their debut album "Push Push" in 2010.

"SISTAR (Hyorin, Bora, Soyou, Dasom) officially ends the their activities for seven years after the last album will be released on May 31. After a careful discussion, we and SISTAR members finally agreed to end the group," Starship's announcement read.

SISTAR are gearing up for their final group activities including promoting the song on TV music shows.

During a live online broadcast on Naver V Live on May 31, the members expressed their feelings about the disbandment and memories.

"First of all, thank you to all the members, fans, and Starship Entertainment family who have been with us for seven years," said Hyorin, according to Soompi. "We will never forget you all. We'll all work hard to become the best in our individual places. I hope you will support us forever."

Soyou thanked their agency and members for the wonderful years.

"I want to thank Starship Entertainment family and my fellow members who went through a lot. Our fans have gone through a lot as well. Thank you to all the composers and lyricists who gave us so many great songs. We will never forget the love that our fans have given us. SISTAR will always be in my heart," she said.

Dasom said SISTAR "received undeserved love for seven years."

"In order to pay back all this love, the members and I have decided to walk our individual paths. I hope you will continue supporting each and every one of us. We were so happy to be together, and we will never ever forget these past seven years. Thank you, and we love you," she added.

According to Bora, "There were many joyful moments but we also had some times of difficulty."

"We grew together from a young age. I'm thankful for all these precious memories. The members and I feel very affectionate towards one another, and the four of us are wrapping things up in a positive light. We hope you will love and support us until the very end," she explained.
