Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference begins tomorrow, 5 June. There are a lot of hardware products the company might announce. In the notebook and tablet department, rumours claim that Apple has a couple of revamped products on its sleeve that might be unveiled during the week-long event.
MacBook Pro
Apple introduced in October 2016 the 13 and 15-inch MacBook Pro devices. They debuted the Touch Bar which Apple used as the models' marketing feature. This innovation did not pan out; in fact, it was the butt of criticisms in the Apple community since it was launched as users saw a lot of problems with it. For a couple of months now, Apple has been rumoured to close in for the kill by revamping these models. Speculations arise that a new 2016 MacBook Pro will be debut this week at the Worldwide Developers Conference 2017 in San Jose, California.
Recent reports suggest that the Cupertino firm might retain the current design of MacBook Pro as the upgrade will come with the internals. These include Intel's Kaby Lake processor, new GPU, and 32GB of RAM. This should result in a faster and more efficient MacBook Pro model.
MacBook
The 12-inch MacBook is another device that may see a significant change in the internals. With a Kaby Lake processor and a 16GB of RAM, a refresh version of the 12-inch MacBook should be a game-changer. The processor is reported to ship with graphics enhancements and battery life improvements.
MacBook Air
A revamped MacBook Air might also make an appearance at the WWDC 2017. Rumours suggest that the new versions will have an updated processor—either a Skylake or Kaby Lake. The MacBook Air was last updated in 2015, only with the colour variants. Until now, models are still running on a Broadwell chip.
iPad Pro
In the tablet landscape, Apple is reported to introduce a 10.5-inch iPad Pro with bezels that are thinner in contrast to its 9.7-inch predecessor. Changes might include the camera, processor, and speakers, according to MacRumors. On top the 10.5-inch iPad Pro is the 12.9-inch variant. No other details have been spilled for this one other than the upgrade in internal components.
