BIGBANG's T.O.P who is reportedly in a critical state, was rushed to the hospital after he was found unconscious. YG Entertainment confirmed T.O.P is in the hospital currently and it is due to a medical drug overdose. He is in the intensive care unit.
According to YG Entertainment as cited by Koreaboo, he was transferred to the intensive unit at 5PM KST but did not regain consciousness yet.
T.O.P's mother and his close friends are reportedly by his side.
The recent statement by YG Entertainment read, "We heard that T.O.P is at the emergency under intensive care for a drug overdose. His mother is at the hospital keeping watch over him. I have not heard anything else at the moment."
According to Osen, T.O.P's friend revealed about his condition stating, "[Doctors] are still testing and the results have not come back, but it's suspected that [he] overdosed. He's been having a hard time recently due to [recent] events and his stress was at peak level. I am incredibly sad for him right now and hope he wakes up soon."
Currently, the rapper is at Leehwa Women's University Mokdong Hospital, in the intensive care unit. His condition is critical and no update have been made as of 7PM KST, Koreaboo reported.
