Khloe Kardashian has openly talked about her struggle with fertility. And now, in a clip from the family's reality show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, the 32-year-old star had an ultrasound and the doctor revealed she has fewer follicles, than other women her age.
Dr. Huang said: "What we're looking at is [if] there's nothing that's going to get in the way of a healthy pregnancy...These are follicles, these hold eggs, so this is just giving you an idea of how young your ovaries are. There are fewer follicles than I anticipate for a normal 32-year-old."
She replied: "Shut the f*** up! This is definitely not at all how I thought this appointment was going to go. What if I can't get pregnant?"
This comes after Kim Kardashian confessed to badgering Khloe to be a surrogate mother for her and husband Kanye West's third child after being told that she would not be able to give birth to another baby naturally.
Speaking during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Kim said: "I have had to go through multiple things to try and do it on my own but I do not think that is looking good for me but I am not giving up."
"So it is a process. You kind of see the whole thing on this next season of our show, of me begging Khloe to help out, but I do not want to do that to her. My mom offered, Kourtney offered," she added.
Khloe's efforts to get pregnant have been well documented in the media and it is no secret that she visited fertility specialists for IVF treatments. It was also featured on the family's reality show.
