Here are some of best titles from both triple A and independent developers that Microsoft presented at the E3 2017.

Microsoft has finally peeled off the Project Scorpio as it revealed the Xbox One X. Amid the much-anticipated revelation, the company has also introduced 42 games that are confirmed hitting the "the most powerful console" yet. Here are some of best titles from both triple A and independent developers confirmed coming to this high-powered console.

Forza Motorsport 7

Microsoft presented a pre-alpha footage of the Forza Motorsport 7 to showcase how stunning the game in Ultra 4K and HDR. The title is dubbed as "the most realistic" in the series so far as it will bring players to a more immersive environment, from the cars down to the weather. Forza Motorsport 7 is due for release on Xbox One X, Xbox One S, Xbox One, and PC on 3 October.

Assassin's Creed: Origins

Set in Ancient Egypt, Assassin's Creed: Origins centres on Bayek, an Egyptian sheriff. In the wake of an evil dominion, he is in a strapping pursuit to defend his community. From the gameplay trailer, Ubisoft delivers an exquisite performance all the more underpinned by the slow motion effects. Assassin's Creed: Origins is due for release on Xbox One X on 27 October.

Dragon Ball FighterZ

Arc System Works embarks on a new three-versus-three fighting game in Dragon Ball FighterZ. A closed beta for the game is due this summer. Dragon Ball FighterZ will be released on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC in 2018.

4K Minecraft

Minecraft is getting a major revamp through the Bedrock Engine. According to Microsoft, this technology allows the developer to create a unified platform so players can play it across all platforms: Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, iOS, PlayStation 4, PC, and more. Alongside this overhaul is the 4K update for the sandbox video game coming this fall.

Some of the games Microsoft have confirmed include the Crackdown, Anthem, Halo Wars 2, Final Fantasy XV, Gears of War 4, Resident Evil 7, Killer Instinct, Ghost Recon: Wildlands, Forza Horizon 3, Rocket League, and Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge, among many others.
