Brad Pitt is reportedly unhappy that he could not spend the Father's Day with his children. On 17 June, Angelina Jolie and the couple's six children - Maddox, 15, Pax, 13, Zahara, 12, Shiloh, 10, and twins Vivienne and Knox (8), were seen at Los Angeles International Airport heading to an undisclosed destination.
A source told Hollywood Life: "He's super bummed that Angie took the kids out of town. He's not complaining, but he had planned to spend some time with them for Father's Day. He was even working on his place to make it special for them, adding a new skateboard ramp."
"He saw Angie's 100 foot water slide and wanted to make his place special for them as well. Although their relationship has improved, communication continues to be a struggle at times," the insider shared.
Pitt has been living alone since Jolie filed for divorce from him in September 2016.
Meanwhile, during a recent interview with GQ, the 53-year-old actor revealed his priority right now are the couple's children. He said: "Family first. People on their deathbeds don't talk about what they obtained or were awarded."
"They talk about their loved ones or their regrets—that seems to be the menu. I say that as someone who's let the work take me away. Kids are so delicate. They absorb everything. They need to have their hand held and things explained. They need to be listened to. When I get in that busy work mode, I'm not hearing. I want to be better at that," Pitt added.
