Korean star Jun Ji-hyun of the hit dramas "My Love from the Star" and "The Legend of the Blue Sea," is pregnant with her second baby.
Her agency announced that the 35-year-old actress is 10 weeks pregnant and is being careful because of her situation.
"Jun Ji-hyun visited the hospital last week and learned that she's 10 weeks pregnant. The baby is due in January," said Culture Depot, according to Yonhap News.
The announcement came just over a year after she gave birth to her first baby in February 2016. In July 2015, she announced that she was pregnant with her first baby after doing promotions for her movie "Assassination."
After giving birth, she starred with Lee Min Ho in "The Legend of the Blue Sea," which ran from November to January this year.
In an interview with SBS last December, she was asked how she maintained her figure after having a baby.
"I'm on a diet. I put a lot of effort into it. The most important thing is to be on guard. It's the most important motivation," she said, AllKPop reported.
Jun Ji-hyun got married to banker Choi Joon-hyuk, grandson of hanbok designer Lee Young-hee, in April 2012 in a lavish ceremony in Seoul.
She rose to popularity when she starred in the hit film "My Sassy Girl" in 2001 together with actor Cha Tae-hyun. The movie became the second top grossing film in Korea in 2001 and brought Jun Ji-hyun the best actress award at the 2002 Grand Bell Awards.
After "My Sassy Girl," she starred in a string of movies including "The Uninvited," "Windstruck," "Daisy," "A Man Who Was Superman," "Blood, The Last Vampire," "The Thieves," "The Berlin File" and Assassination."
More than a year after getting married, she starred opposite Kim Soo Hyun in the ratings hit "My Love from the Star," playing the role of an actress.
The role brought her glory as she bagged the grand prize at the 50th Baeksang Arts Awards and SBS Drama Awards.
