Phosphate mining company AsiaPhos on Monday said it expects to report a higher revenue and profit after tax in the second-quarter due to increased sales volume and average selling prices of yellow phosphorus or P4.
The company had also resumed full production of P4 during the second quarter which resulted in higher inventories of P4 available for sale, it said in a statement.
Catalist-listed company will declare its second quarter and half year ended June 30 results on or before August 14.
Last month, AsiaPhos said it is carrying out an internal restructuring, which involves the assets, operations and activities of its subsidiaries in Singapore, Hong Kong and China.
