The Google Earth for iOS app delivers a new treat for travel enthusiasts as the developer updated it with new places to discover and itineraries to get inspiration from. After years of being left untouched, Google Earth is finally getting its much-needed update with new exciting and useful features that travellers will adore.

Voyager

Voyager is the newest feature that will inspire travellers with their upcoming trips. By clicking on the navigator on the left side under the Menu, this feature delivers "detailed multi-day itineraries for 17 cities". Since this is an interactive stories feature, users are guaranteed to get the real-life framework of their future travels.

Some of the currently featured itineraries in Voyager are Beautiful Hiking Destinations in Canada, Discover Machu Picchu, Explore Tokyo, Mexico City Street Food, A Trip to the South Pole and Brown Bears of Katmai National Park, Alaska, among others. Google Earth boasts more than 140 stories in eight languages to start up travel ideas.

Knowledge Cards

Knowledge Cards are enriched with information about thousands of places and landmarks anywhere the world. This feature gives users history, trivia and related facts of a specific destination or attraction in the search.

I'm Feeling Lucky

I'm Feeling Lucky offers random destinations that users might want to explore. By clicking on it, Google Earth will automatically spin the globe and shows a particular destination that users might be interested in.

Postcards

Postcards allow users to capture stunning images right in the Google Earth app and share it with friends, family and followers. To get a great view of the attraction, use the 3D option before taking a shot.
