MBC TV channel's "Infinite Challenge" and "I Live Alone" topped the brand reputation index for Korean entertainment programs in August.
The Korea Institute for Corporate Reputation analyzed 139.17 million pieces of big data from July 4 to August. 4 covering 40 entertainment programs based on participation, media, communication and community indices.
"Infinite Challenge," which features Yoo Jae-suk, Haha, Park Myeong-su, Yang Hye-sung and Jeong Jun-ha, got a total score of 11.22 million to wind up in first place. The TV show's score fell by 13.61 percent compared to its July total of 12.99 million.
"I Live Alone," which showcases celebrities who live alone, came second with 8.585 million, up by 9.77 percent from July's 7.82 million.
The newly reformatted "Happy Together," which also has Yoo Jae-suk as the main host, grabbed third place with a score of 8.583 million, getting an increase of 59.38 percent from 5.38 million last month.
According to the institute, TV programs that showed new formats like "Happy Together" and "Running Man" ranked higher.
