Jennifer Lawrence is upset that fans of Chris Pratt and Anna Faris are accusing her for the couple's separation. The duo announced that they are separating after eight years of marriage via social media.
The 38-year-old actor had announced the split on his Facebook page. A source told Hollywood Life: "Jennifer is horrified that people are blaming her for Chris and Anna's separation."
"She's heartbroken that they're splitting up and it makes her sick to her stomach that people think she had anything to do with it. The worst part about the rumors is that she adores Anna. She got to know her really well when she did Passengers with Chris and considers her a friend," the insider added.
Faris had previously opened up about rumours linked to Pratt and the Academy Award-winning actress working together in a movie. The Jurassic World star and the Hunger Games star co-starred in the sci-fi movie, Passengers.
During her podcast, Anna Faris Is Unqualified, The House Bunny star admitted she gets upset hearing rumours about her marriage. She said: "Chris and I, we talk about this a lot. We grapple with a lot of the ideas of being a public couple."
"There were some tabloid rumors about strain in our relationship. I just remember feeling so hurt in a way that bothered me, because I didn't want to think of myself as somebody who could be affected by ... tabloid s**t."
"I take pride in how great my relationship is with Chris, but having said that, of course, in this crazy world where he's off doing movies and I'm in L.A. raising our child, of course I'm going to feel vulnerable, like any normal human would. It made me feel incredibly insecure," she continued.
