The Galaxy A (2018) lineup is getting the Infinity Display originally introduced by Samsung in the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus earlier this year. According to the latest report of a well-known leakster, the company is now gearing up its plans to release an Infinity Display-sporting midrange phones.
Chinese Samsung insider @mmddj_china on Twitter has just revealed that the next-generation Galaxy A phones built around the impressive Infinity Display will be arriving next year. The current Galaxy A (2017) series is an upper midrange lineup sporting a Corning Gorilla Glass 4 screen.

Since Samsung is bringing new features for the series year after year, the leak could be a good indication the Infinity Display for the Galaxy A (2018) has already been in the pipeline. However, it has not been detailed yet whether the Galaxy Tab A will get the Infinity Display as well.
The Galaxy A (2019) line is expected to arrive with IP68 certification for water and dust resistance. According to SamMobile, fans can expect "dual-edge curved displays with minimal bezels". As to the screen resolution, it could be that the South Korean tech giant is also planning for a Quad HD quality for the devices.
