Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo were spotted together for the first time since announcing their wedding in July. The couple were spotted at an airport in Seoul, South Korea, heading to the United States.
The reports emerged after a picture of the two on a plane to Los Angeles circulated on social media. A source from the actress' agency told Soompi: "They have individual schedules there, so they left together."
The 31-year-old actor and Hye Kyo shot to fame after starring in Descendants of the Sun. In the hit drama, Joong Ki plays the lead role as Captain Yoo Shi Jin, and Hye Kyo reprises the role of doctor named Kang Mo-Yeon. The series, which was one of the most successful of Korean shows in recent years, was sold to 32 countries and translated to 32 different languages.
The two announced that they will tie the knot on October 31. The couple will be tying the knot at South Korea's Shilla Hotel.
Meanwhile, Joong Ki had admitted he is very excited to marry Hye Kyo. During an appearance on JTBC's Newsroom, he gushed about his wife-to-be and discussed his new film Battleship Island. He said: "Since I have two big events happening this year, I think I'm spending the best summer so far. My movie has already been released, and the other event is my wedding."
